This was a request made anonymously. These are the EXACT boots that Nina was seen in while shopping in NYC. Sam Edelman “Pierce” Over the Knee Boot. That site only has one size available, but type the info into google and look through their shopping section you’re bound to find some in different sizes & prices. If I find something similar for less I’ll let you guys know.

Our Nina has been one busy girl! Not only is she in the middle of filming for her new movie, “Perks of Being a Wallflower”, she also has time to do some NYC shopping and fulfill her CW duties by attending the 2011 CW Upfronts. 

What I love most about this look is that it still looks bright despite the overall black and grey. The dress itself is a simple color block dress but with the right accessories and Nina’s staple blazer, it’s a fab look for the CW Upfronts. 

Let’s start with the dress. Again, simple color block dress, but what makes this one great is the full skirt and pop of color on grey. I found the exact match, SUMMERS Color Block Dress by Jay Godfrey. Love the dress, but I’m sure we’d all rather get the look for less ;P Keeping with the whole grey/yellow look, I’ve found a few other choices you might be interested in. First one is a body conscious dress by Bebe, the Off Shoulder Stripe Dress, a great dress for the office or party when paired with the right accessories. Second choice is similar in the shape of the original, the Horny Toad Ska Dress. The last dress, although it has no yellow, instead it’s black and grey, is closer to the original dress in terms of style and the way it’s color blocked. The MM Couture Dress is perfect for a night out :)

In other photos Nina is seen with out her blazer, but I’m including it with the overall look. These aren’t matches, but I have been on the lookout for her blazer since it’s very particular with it’s silk trim collar and stripped cuffs. First one comes from ASOS, the ASOS Boyfriend Blazer. The second from Forever 21, the Stripe Trim Blazer. Both are great and the blazer is definitely one piece Nina is well known for. 

For shoes, Nina is seen in nude/beige patent mid heels which are a great choice since it’s lightens her overall look and contrasts her black blazer and clutch. A close match are these Fergalicious Worn Utopia Nude Patent Pumps. 

Nina’s clutch is boxy with silver hardware on the side, so I’ve decided to go with this great Pieces Lilje Hard Beaded Clutch Bag. For her necklace and bracelet I’ve decided to switch it up by making the necklace the lighter piece with this Classic Beaded Necklace and the bracelet bulkier with these Interlocked Shimmering Bangles both by Forever21.

First of all can I just say that each and every single one of you guys are absolutely amazing!!!! <33333333 Thanks so much for your patience and for sticking with this tumblr! :) 

So I wanted to talk to you today about this amazing site called Rent The Runway. I just recently graduated from college (whoooo!!!!) and I definitely did not have the money to spend on the usual dresses I love to buy. So here is my savior, RTR, with an amazing collection of dresses to rent starting at just $50!!! You know my favorite part, I don’t have to feel bad about spending money on a dress I wouldn’t have worn ever again! Now, I won’t bore you with all the details, but it’s pretty simple, you pick your dress, you are allowed to choose a second size for free, and it will arrive the day you pick! Then, in the allotted time of 4 or 8 days, depends on which you pay for, you return the dress(es) back into a prepaid package and off it goes to get dry cleaned at no extra charge! :)

So as we all know, Nina was set to make an appearance at tonight’s 2011 The White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA) Dinner. Despite not having that many images of her at the event, it was nagging in my mind that I had seen her dress before. Well! All those hours spent on the RTR site definitely paid off! Found the dress when I decided to take another look to see if I could find something similar and ended up finding the match! 

The dress, D&G by Dolce and Gabbana Powder Twist Gown, at its listed price of $1,195 on the D&G website can be rented for $250! This lovely dress, of pale pink chiffon and tulle detail was an excellent choice for Nina. Now I’ve yet to find the exact match to the necklace, I did pick one out from the site, this beautiful Ciner Teardrop Crystal Necklace of $375 at a rental price of $50.

I highly recommend RTR for that special event, they provide excellent service and have stylists on call and chat that you can ask questions, or help on finding that perfect dress! :)

Hello to all my lovely followers that I have not forgotten about! Currently in the midst of some major events going on in my personal life that I had to put this on hold, but doesn’t mean that I didn’t have something in the works! So as suggested by the image above, Nina Dobrev Style has an official website!!! Whoooooo!!!!! Only problem… I can’t get it to work. It was at least up in the sense that you could see the home page even though the links didn’t work. And now I can’t even access my server through FileZilla. If anyone here knows about fansites or knows someone who does, please, help me! You will be compensated in some way for your help. 

I really wanted to have this ready for you guys when I was officially back, but I definitely did not count on having so many problems! :(

Hey, I hate to send in (probably yet another) request, but my sister’s birthday is in about a month and she’s REALLY hard to shop for, but last night she mentioned how she wants a blazer like Nina with the back cut out, like she wore to the Golden Globes After-Party. this is a pretty hard one though because she wasn’t wearing it for the pictures, but you can see it in this video (link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC6eDECRfrA&feature=player_embedded ), at about the 1:50 mark, and again at the 1:55. I hope you can figure this out! Whenever I tried to google search it came up with an Alexander Wang blazer, but that cut out isn’t the exact match or a very pretty variant :/

Thank you so much, really, this tumblr is basically the greatest thing ever. My sister mentioned the jacket and I was like “I BET I CAN FIND OUT WHAT JACKET THAT IS!” :)

So I did my best to find you an exact match, but I’m afraid it might be the Alexander Wang blazer as you mentioned, or most likely, because Nina has been known to wear Topshop, it’s a blazer they made that is no longer in stock, which I found out from here. 

The only available blazers I found are from ASOS, each unique and great for different purposes. I’m not sure what your sister’s wardrobe consist of, but I think each of these blazers are great for different occasions.

The Minkpink blazer is by far the most appropriate for a night out and the only one with a similar cut out. Not as structured as most blazers tend to be, which can be viewed from the video at ASOS.com (one of my favorite features). - Minkpink All Over Sequin Cut Back Blazer

The Chiffon Blazer is also perfect for a night out, but it lends itself to wear for day as well. What makes this blazer even more unique is that the chiffon runs on the side of the sleeve. This is probably the most similar blazer to the original in the video in terms of length and structure. - ASOS Chiffon Sleeve Cut Out Back Blazer

The last blazer, a Cut Out Blazer is the least similar of the original, but similar to the previous one in it’s use of chiffon, although in this one, the sleeves are completely made out of it. - ASOS BLACK Cut Out Back Jacket

I’ll keep a look out over the next few weeks if any other blazers pop up, but these were all I could find for you at the moment! I hope you find something you like! :)
